Piece of thin card such as a post card
    Tacky glue

Cut circle of card ½ins across. Cut out a piece of fabric the same size.
Cut a piece of  fabric 1¼ x 1¾ins and make small V notches along the
long side, and turn in about ½ an inch along the opposite side and stick down.
Put a smear of glue round the edge of the card and stick edge of fabric on the front gluing one notch over the one before if required.
There should be a slight overlap, stick one side over the other to form a tube.
A child’s crayon or a piece of doweling is useful here.

If you haven’t lost it now is the time to stick the circle of fabric to the bottom. Cover the join with a piece of ribbon.
Leave to dry.
Roll a piece of tissue paper into a small ball and put into a bag. Stick a piece of ribbon onto back seam and holding the edges of the top together tie in the front drawing the bag closed.
Stick a piece of ribbon on each side of the bag to form a handle.

Finish with a rosebud.
