Santa Hat Project...

You will need: red and white felt, a white pom-pom, tacky glue & scissors

1. Look at the picture and cut out a red cone shape and round off the top. The size isn't critical, but mine is 5cm high and 8cm straight across from corner to corner.

2. Cut a curved strip of white felt the same size as the bottom of the cone.

3. Put tacky glue down one edge of the cone and press the other edge on top to make an overlapping seam. This will be the centre back of the hat.

4. Glue the white strip round the bottom, matching the seam at the back.

5. Glue the pom-pom on the top.
