Debbie Dixon-Paver: 1/12th Scale Dollshouse Dolls
I've been making miniature porcelain dolls since 1994 and was a regular exhibitor at the Alexandra Palace, Excel and Hove fairs, trading as "Debbie Cooper's Dolls" for a number of years. I currently conduct most of my business through internet sales from my online CDHM Gallery portfolio.
I'm a qualified Art teacher by profession and I do believe that my formal Art training and more than 20 years of teaching Art in the classroom benefit my dollmaking greatly. I work mainly in porcelain in 1/12th scale and my dolls are china-painted and fired up to 8 times in the kiln for the best possible results. Dressing of my dolls is mainly in cotton and silk with the best available lace and trims used to create costumes with enormous attention to detail. Dolls of all fashion eras and historical periods are represented in my work, with my personal favourites being Victorian, Edwardian and Tudor. My range of dolls includes adults, children, babies and tiny doll's dolls. For many years I created an exclusive range of tiny doll's dolls under the label "Alpha-BIT-dolls."

I never repeat dolls, nor do I accept any orders or commission work, so when a customer buys a doll from me they are assured of an OOAK (one of a kind) creation, made with passion.
